Sweet-n-Sour Meatballs
 
Ingredients:
 
1 can (13½ ounces) pineapple tidbits, drained, reserving syrup
cup vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
½ cup brown sugar
 
 
Procedure:
  • In skillet, mix together reserved pineapple syrup, vinegar, and soy sauce.
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and sugar.
  • Stir cornstarch/sugar mixture into the syrup mixture.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils.
  • Boil and stir 1 minute.
  • Add pineapple tidbits and meatballs.
  • Heat through.
