Scalloped Potatoes with Cheese and Ham
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons butter
2 cups milk
4-5 large baking potatoes, peeled and sliced ¼-inch thick
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup cubed ham
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon
pepper
4 cups shredded cheese
Procedure:
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add flour and cook 1 minute.
- Add milk slowly and cook until thick and bubbly.
- Layer half of each: potatoes, onion, ham, salt, pepper, cheese,
and white sauce.
- Repeat layers.
- Cover and bake 2 hours at 350° F.
