Special Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients:
1 tablespoons melted butter
½ cup chopped
celery
¼ cup chopped
onion
½ teaspoon
salt
⅛
teaspoon pepper
1 cup canned tomatoes
2 cups cooked brussels sprouts
Bread or cracker crumbs for top
Procedure:
- In a frying pan, cook celery and onion in butter until tender.
- In a greased casserole, layer the following: ½ cup tomatoes, 1 cup brussels sprouts, ½ of the
celery-onion mixture.
- Repeat layer.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake at 325° F
for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly.
