Freezing Apples
Ingredients:
- 50 pounds of apples will make 35 frozen pints.
- Quarter or slice apples into a solution of ½ cup salt per 1 gallon of water.
- Dunk them into boiling water for 1½ to 2 minutes.
- Drain the apples, rinse under cold water, then drain again.
- Pack into freezer container, leave headspace, and freeze.
