I always keep a small jar of this minced garlic in my refrigerator.
It comes in handy when I'm putting together a recipe that includes garlic. A baby food jar or pimento jar
works great, and a small jar lasts quite a while.
Minced Garlic
Ingredients:
Garlic
Vegetable Oil
Procedure:
Peel and mince a few heads of garlic, depending on the size of the heads.
Put into a small jar.
Pour vegetable oil over the garlic, shake to coat well.
Store in the fridge, and it will keep for months.
One-fourth teaspoon equals one garlic clove in a recipe.
