Hawaiian Pork Chops
Ingredients:
4 1-inch thick center cut pork chops
Salt and pepper
All-purpose flour
3 tablespoons shortening
¾ cups crushed
pineapple
2 tablespoon brown sugar
¼ teaspoon
ground cinnamon
Procedure:
- Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Coat with flour and brown on 1 side in hot shortening.
- Combine pineapple, sugar and cinnamon.
- Turn chops over and cover with pineapple mixture.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes until tender.
