Peanut Butter Cake


Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1-¼ cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking  powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

¼ cup vegetable shortening

2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
 

Procedure:

  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. 
  • Add milk, peanut butter, shortening, vanilla and eggs. 
  • Beat until blended, for 1 - 2 minutes. 
  • Pour into lightly oiled 9 x 13-inch baking pan. 
  • Bake at 350° F for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. 
  • Frost with Peanut Butter Frosting.
