Parsley Dumplings:
Ingredients:
1½ cups self-rising flour
2 tablespoons parsley
Procedure:
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Drop dough by teaspoon- or tablespoon-ful, depending on the size dumplings you want, into boiling
liquid (broth, stew, pinto beans, etc.).
- Stir and cook around 15 minutes for larger dumplings and 10 minutes for smaller dumplings.
- Scrape bottom of pan occasionally to prevent sticking, as the food will thicken as it cooks.
