Oven-Baked Deer
Ingredients:
Deer meat, any cut
½ teaspoon
salt
½ teaspoon
pepper
¼ cup oil
water
Procedure:
- Place meat in a single layer in baking pan.
- Sprinkle on salt and pepper.
- Add enough water to cover bottom of pan.
- Pour in oil.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 250-300° F
(slow oven) for several hours, turning every hour or so, until tender. The longer you bake the meat, the more tender
it will be.
- Remove cover to brown.
