Caramel Cake
Ingredients:
1-¾ cup cake flour
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
¾ cup milk
1-¾ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a large bowl, sift the flour and brown sugar together.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Beat for 3 minutes.
- Divide batter evenly between two greased round cake pans.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Carefully remove partially cooled cakes from pans.
- Cool completely.
- Frost with Caramel Frosting.
- Frost top side of one layer. Carefully place the other layer on top. Frost sides and top.
