Frosted Pumpkin Bars
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 ⅔ c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 16-oz. can pumpkin
2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
Frosting:
1 3-oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1 t. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
Procedure:
- In mixing bowl, combine eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy.
- Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and baking soda.
- Add to pumpkin mixture, blending well.
- spread batter in ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Bake 350° F for
30 minutes.
- Cool.
- Frosting: Cream butter and cream cheese. Stir in vanilla.
Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth.
- Frost cooled bars.
