Beer-Battered Shrimp
 
 
Ingredients:
 
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup cornstarch
teaspoon salt
¼ cup beer
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg yolk
 
 
Procedure:
  • Combine flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Add beer, butter, and egg yolk; stir until smooth.
  • Dip shrimp into batter and deep-fry a few at a time at 375° F until golden.
