Beer-Battered Shrimp
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
cup all-purpose flour
cup cornstarch
teaspoon salt
cup beer
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 egg yolk
  • Combine flour, cornstarch, and salt.
  • Add beer, butter, and egg yolk; stir until smooth.
  • Dip shrimp into batter and deep-fry a few at a time at 375 F until golden.
