Maple-Glazed Pork Roast
 
 
Ingredients:
 
Pork Shoulder Roast, about 4 pounds
½ cup maple syrup
½ cup orange juice
cut up carrots, potatoes, and onions (the amount is your choice)
3 tablespoons cold water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
 
 
Procedure:
  • Place roast in large baking dish
  • Combine maple syrup and orange juice; pour over roast.
  • Cover and roast at 325° F for 1½ hours.
  • Add vegetables and continue roasting 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender and meat is done.
  • Remove meat and vegetables to a platter.  Reserve juices for glaze.
  • Combine cornstarch and cold water in small saucepan.
  • Add reserved juices and heat until thickened and bubbly.
  • Drizzle glaze over roast and vegetables.
  • Serve with remaining glaze.
