Caramelized Cola Roast
Ingredients:
1 3-pound beef bottom round roast
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
½teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup cola
½ cup chili sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 325° F.
- Place roast in a greased roasting pan.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the roast.
- Cover with foil and roast for 2½ to 3 hours, or
until tender.
- Slice and serve with the sauce from the pan.
