Cracklin' Cornbread
Ingredients:
2 cups cornmeal
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
buttermilk
1½ cup chopped cracklings
Procedure:
- Mix first four ingredients together.
- Add enough buttermilk to get a heavy gravy-like consistency.
- Fold in cracklings.
- Bake at 350° F
until brown.
