My family loves these dill pickled green beans!  Until a few years ago, I'd never heard of pickled green beans, but I soon learned that there are many different recipes out there for them.  I've tried several of them, and this recipe is my family's favorite.

Dill Pickled Green Beans

Ingredients:

Whole Green Beans
1 package Mrs. Wages dill pickle mix, found in the canning section of most grocery stores
vinegar

Procedure:
  • String the green beans and break off the tips.
  • Pack whole into jars, vertically.
  • Prepare the dill pickle mix and vinegar as directed on package, and pour hot mixture over beans.
  • Place lids and rings on jars.
  • Process in a boiling water bath with water covering the jars as directed on package for pickles.
