This savory chili cheese dip is a sure crowd-pleaser, whether the occasion is a tail-gating party or a winter evening snack before a cozy burning fireplace.  Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and add a dollop of sour cream for a warm and tasty snack.



Chili Cheese Dip
 
Ingredients:
 
8 ounces cream cheese, softened

½ cup. chunky salsa

1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
1 can Chili beans, undrained

cup chopped onions

 
 
Procedure:
  • Combine cream cheese with salsa.
  • Spread in bottom of a 9-inch microwaveable pie plate.
  • Sprinkle with ½ cup cheese.
  • Spoon beans over shredded cheese.
  • Top with remaining cheese and onions.
  • Cover with vented plastic wrap
  • Microwave for 2 minutes on medium-high.
  • Rotate dish and repeat.
  • Remove wrap; microwave on high for 1 minute or until mixture is hot and cheese is melted.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Great served with tortilla chips.
