Canned Homemade Hot Dog Sauce
 
 
Ingredients:
 
4 pounds ground beef
6 medium onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 large cans tomato paste
½ cup chili powder
1 quart diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons oregano
 
 
Procedure:
  • Brown and drain ground beef.
  • Add all other ingredients and simmer until thick.
  • Ladle hot into pint jars and seal.
  • Process 60 minutes at 12-15 pounds pressure.
